NOW THAT'S SOME CRAZY $HIT!!
How many of you have ever heard of 1st Lt. Michael Behenna?
I'm assuming not many as i myself never have until about a half hour before typing this.
The secrecy of this story is about as sickening as the ordeal Behenna has been put thru the past three and half years, but then again the mainstream isn't a big fan of bringing up stories that may stir discontent with the public unless it suits their agenda.
1st LT Behenna was serving in Iraq back in 2008 when his platoon was attacked with an IED that killed two soldiers under his command.
The attack was courtesy of Al Qaeda operatives aligned with wanted terrorist Ali Monsour Mohammed.
Mohammed was apprehended by Behenna's platoon on May 5 2008 at his home.
The story takes a head scratching turn for the worse shortly after.
For some strange reason less than two weeks later, Mohammed was ordered to be released.
WTF!!!!
1st LT Behenna was in charge of transporting Mohammed back to his home when he decided to do one last interrogation.
That's where things went downhill for Behenna.
Behenna says that Mohammed attempted to grab his weapon, so he shot and killed him.
Prosecutors claim he shot Mohammed execution style next to a railroad and in 2009 convicted him of unpremeditated murder in a combat zone.
In 2012, an appeal attempt failed and it was determined Behenna would have to serve out his 15 year sentence.
Army Times reported: Behenna’s Houston-based attorney, Jack Zimmerman, argued the conviction should be overturned because Army prosecutors failed to notify the defense that a crime scene expert retained by the military agreed with Behenna’s claim that he shot the man in self-defense when the man reached for Behenna’s handgun. Zimmerman also maintained the judge at Behenna’s military trial gave faulty jury instructions that took away his claim of self-defense.
Although the court agreed the trial judge’s instructions were faulty, it determined the error was “harmless” and did not affect the findings or the sentence.
Zimmerman said he’s disappointed in the court’s ruling and plans to discuss available options with Behenna and his family.
“All five judges agreed with us on both of the errors,” Zimmerman said. “It’s disappointing they wouldn’t find that it was prejudicial.

So y-tf was a wanted terrorist ordered to be released in the first place?? $hit just don't make no sense.
While trying to find as much info as possible on this story, i was floored in the lack of any mainstream attention.
A couple of local news stories and some random articles such as the one i'm typing were the only things around.
Saying once again how much something i see sucks and is worthy of a head shake, all while moving on and forgetting what i just read wasn't much of an option for this one.
If only a few people fully read this and are made aware of an Americans soldier's plight at the hands of his own justice system,, than my job was done.
Best of luck to 1st LT Michael Behenna's family and supporters in any attempt to get the conviction overturned.
